about the therapist

Eimear O'Kane (formerly Tobin) works in the NHS as a psychiatrist and is particularly interested in how work with the body (e.g. massage) can affect mental well-being.

She is also a keen dancer, which enhances her understanding of the body. Dance, like massage, improves body awareness and grounding, and can be part of an approach to managing stress.
